First impressions count and we all want to look our best for that important interview. A smart outfit gives us confidence and self-respect and a successful interview can change one’s life. This is trickier when your wardrobe is limited, your spirits are rock bottom and your circumstances, challenging.

Enter Suited & Booted, a charity founded by Dr Maria Lenn, that spotted this gap and works with men coming through difficult times, men with mental health issues, financial worries, homeless men, providing smart and appropriate clothing and interview advice, increasing the chances of success and of transforming a life.

Clients are referred to the Charity by various agencies, by the NHS, Crisis and the probation service. This steppingstone can stop spiralling chaos and give men back their dignity, offering a more stable future.

Many of the suits and coats are new and very good quality, designer brands, donated by tailors and retailers. Others are dry-cleaned donations from city gents, who know they are lucky to be able to afford a new outfit regularly. And it does not stop at the suit… smart accessories are part of the armoury!

Enter Fox & Chave. We have always admired the ethos behind this organisation and are delighte to make regular donations of ties and cufflinks. As a Fox & Chave fan, you will know that our ties are ‘conversation pieces’ and we enjoy the thought that they might be ice breakers, to get an interview off to a comfortable start!
